ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3 rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.10.2024 to pay e-Challan No.TN39568200616153216 dated 16.06.2020 as per TN Online Complaint No.AUJ24443904 on the file of the 3 rd respondent's Peralam Police Station, Thiruvarur District.

2. The case of the petitioner is that when the petitioner tried to renew FC, he came to know that his car was booked under drunken drive (DD) case through e-Challan No.TN39568200616153216 dated 16.06.2020 as per TN Online Complaint No.AUJ24443904 on the file of the 3 rd respondent.

Thereafter, when he approached the Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvarur, in order to pay the fine, he came to know that no charge sheet was filed. Hence, the present petition is filed.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents police submitted that the charge sheet was filed before the Judicial Magistrate, Nannilam on 24.11.2024 through e-filing.

4. Recording the submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. 25.11.2024 Index : Yes / No Speaking Order : Yes / No ksa-2 3/5
