The petitioner/A1 seeks bail in Crime No.42 of 2023, registered by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 324, 307 @ 302 of IPC. The petitioner had been remanded to custody on 12.02.2023. 2.Subsequent to investigation, final report had been filed and trial is now pending in S.C.No.61 of 2023 before the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Ariyalur, at the stage of examination of the Doctor and the Investigating Officer.

3.It is stated that though chief examination had been conducted, the petitioner appears to have an affinity to change Advocates and give fresh instructions to every Advocate who appears putting up one issue or the other. The issue is very simple. The learned counsel should cross-examine the prosecution witnesses then the case will come to a conclusion. At this stage, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
