(Order of the Court was made by S.S. SUNDAR, J.) This writ petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.08.2024 for single window approvals for running Old Age Homes/Retirement Homes/Home for Orphaned Children, Destitute, physically challenged and visually challenged. 2.Having regard to the nature of representation of the petitioner, the respondents have no serious objection for considering the representation. However, the learned State Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner is running a Home for aged without any permission. 3.Considering the limited scope of the prayer that is now sought before this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 12.08.2024, keeping in mind the nature of complaints received from public against several Old Age Homes/Retirement Homes/Orphaned Children and Destitute, and pass appropriate

orders on merits. The credentials of the individuals and their financials shall also be taken into account. This order does not stand in the way of the respondents taking action against the petitioner, if he is running any Old Age Home/Retirement Home/Home for Orphaned Children, Destitute, physically challenged and visually challenged, without any permission from the Statutory authorities. 4.With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. (S.S.S.R., J.) (M.S.K., J.) 19.12.2024 mkn Internet : Yes Index : Yes To 1.The Chief Secretary, State of Tamil Nadu, 2.The District Collector,
