Respondents PRAYER Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records in Ref.No CENTAC/UG-NEET/2024/27, dated 28-10-2024, in the file of the 3rd respondent and, quash the condition "Fresh Candidates will be considered for allotment only after exhausting the candidates in existing Merit List" and the consequent UG NEET STRAY ROUND conducted on 31.10.2024 as arbitrary, biased and favouring the 4th, 5th and 6th Respondents and further direct the 3rd respondent to re-conduct the UG NEET stray round for the year 2024-2025 by considering Merit of both the Existing Candidates and the Fresh Registered Candidates collectively and to allot seats for Bachelor of Dental Surgeon (Management Quota) as per the such Merit List and to pass any such order considering the circumstances and the facts of the case. ORDER
The relief prayed for in the Writ Petition is with reference to the Medical Admission for the Academic Year 2024-2025. Now, the Academic Year itself is over and even the admissions are over for the next Academic Year and the High Court, after expiry of the last date and after the academic year, cannot grant any relief to the petitioner as prayed for in the writ petition.
2. In view thereof, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
