N.Senthil Kumar ..Respondents Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying for issuance of writ of certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the Letter No.39557/PR23/93, dated 06.09.2017 issued by the 2nd respondent to the 3rd respondent and quash the same and for a consequential direction to the respondents 2 & 3 to restore the petitioner's seniority as it was maintained till 30.09.2017 and to pass such further or other orders.

ORDER

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had retired from service on 30.06.2025, and hence, the prayer sought in the writ petition has become infructuous and nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition. The learned counsel for the petitioner has also made an endorsement to that effect.
