Prayer:Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records on the files of the first respondent in proceedings No.E1/25119/2016-I dated 29.09.2016 and further proceedings in E1/25119/2016-II dated 29.09.2016 and quash the same being without jurisdiction and authority of law and against the principles of natural justice and further direct the first respondent to allow the petitioner to retire from service as having attained superannuation on 30.09.2016 AN. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking to quash the proceedings of the first respondent dated 29.09.2016 and to direct the first respondent to allow the petitioner to retire from service.

2.When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that during the pendancy of this writ petition, the petitioner was permitted to retire from service on 01.09.2018 and hence nothing survives for adjudication.

3.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
