This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.189 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police on instructions would submit that the investigation was already completed and the final report was also filed before the Judicial Magistrate, Gummidipoondi, through e-filing on 15.11.2024 itself and therefore, nothing survives for adjudication.
