Petitioner has filed the present writ petition, directing the second respondent, to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 3/7/2017 and to pass appropriate orders, on merits, within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. In the representation, petitioner has stated that the property measuring an extent of 0.09.0 hectares in S.No.308/1C originally belonged to the father and that the same was settled in favour of the petitioner by virtue of a document dated 5/12/2004. Recognizing the title of the petitioner's father and petitioner, it is stated that separate patta was also given by the Tahsildar, by proceedings, dated 15/3/2005. In the representation, it is further stated that entry in revenue records has been changed without an order of Tahsildar in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
respect of patta No.554 pertaining to the land to which the petitioner was given patta earlier.
3. Grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner's land has been annexed in the patta which was given in favour of another person, without holding an enquiry. The present writ petition is only to consider the representation of the petitioner. The petitioner seeks modification of entries in revenue records.
4. Having regard to the nature of the grievance entrusted by the writ petitioner and the prayer in the writ petition, this Court is of the view that a direction can be issued to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 3/7/2017.
5. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation, the Tahsildar, Villupuram District, second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 3/7/2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the persons interested, within a period of twelve weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
