PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to issue suitable direction to learned Special Judge, Special Court under TNPID Act, Coimbatore, to dispose the case in C.C. ORDER

The petition is filed to expedite the trial in C.C. No.23 of 2021 on the file of the learned Special Judge, Special Court under TNPID Act, Coimbatore. In this case, there are 425 witnesses listed and prosecution so far, examined, 395 witnesses and closed the prosecution side evidence. Presently, the matter is posted for questioning the accused under Section 313 Cr.P.C. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Page No.1/2

2. Taking note of the magnitude of number of witnesses and the documents, the petition filed by the victim who was examined as P.W.383 seeking earlier disposal of the trail within stipulated time, cannot be entertained at this juncture, without ascertaining the number of defence side witnesses likely to be examined. Hence, with liberty to revive this petition at later point of time, this petition is disposed of.
