O R D E R

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed direct the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, South Chennai to expeditiously dispose of the E.A.No.80 of 2023 in C.C.No.407 of 2022 within a reasonable time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the award has been passed directing the respondent to pay a sum of Rs.2,75,000/- to the revision petitioner on 26.07.2023. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner had filed an execution petition for recovery of the said amount and the said Execution Petition has been simply adjourned at the instance of the learned counsel appearing for the respondent. Hence, the present Civil Revision Petition.

3. I have perused the docket Orders. The same indicates that the Page 2 / 4

matter has been adjourned from 30.01.2024 till 24.10.2034 for reporting settlement or for enquiry and every time it appears that the respondent sought adjournment some how or other under the pretext of settling the matter.

4. Considering the fact that the revision petitioner is aged 83 years and also taking note of the facts and circumstances, the Execution Court/Commission is directed to dispose of the Execution Petition in E.A.No.80 of 2023 in C.C.No.407 of 2022 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

5. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
