PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the District and Sessions Judge at Thiruvallur to consider the anticipatory bail Application on the same day of the arrest or surrender before the Court concerned in Crime No.18 of 2023 on the file of the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Gummidipoondi, Thiruvallur District.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking direction to consider the Bail application of the petitioners herein, who apprehends arrest for the offence under SC/ST Act.

2. The prayer sought in this petition cannot be entertained in view of Section 15A of the SC/ST Act, which mandates notice to the defacto complainant. It is open to the petitioner to file an application before the Court below and seek appropriate remedy.
