The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime

No.12 of 2018, pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, Poonamalle.

2. Pursuant to the order passed by this Court on 20.09.2023, the matter was posted for passing further orders.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the condition imposed by this Court has been complied and the arrears of maintenance to the tune of Rs.1,65,000/- has been paid in three installments. That apart, the monthly maintenance is also paid from January 2023 onwards to the daughter at the rate of Rs.7,500/- per month.

4. In the light of the above development, the FIR in Crime No.12 of 2018 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, Poonamalle is hereby quashed and the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. 09.01.2024 skr Index : Yes / No Speaking order / Non-speaking order Note: Issue order copy by 18.01.2024
