ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by S.S.SUNDAR, J.,] (1)The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to cause production of her daughter V.Dhanalakshmi, aged 19 years, who is said to be missing from 10.11.2023, before this Court and to hand over her custody to her.

(2)Mr.E.Raj Thilak, learned Additional Public Prosecutor accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

(3)The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions submitted that the detenue Dhanalakshmi got married to a person belonging to another community.

(4)Even according to the petitioner, her daughter has completed 19 years. Hence, this Court is of the view that it is not a case of illegal detention. (5)Hence, the 2nd respondent police is directed, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, with due intimation to the petitioner, to produce the detenue Dhanalakshmi before the learned

18th Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai, who shall record the statement of the detenue and pass orders.

(6)This Habeas Corpus Petition stands disposed of with the above direction.
