ORDER

This Contempt Petition arises out of the Order dated 13.08.2021 passed by this Court in W.P.No.21623 of 2017.

2. The learned Additional Advocate General for the Respondents submitted that in substantial compliance of the Order dated 13.08.2021 passed by this Court in W.P.No.21623 of 2017, the Administrator of M/s.Salem Co-operative Sugar Mills Limited has addressed a Communication dated 24.04.2025 to the 2nd Petitioner, wherein, it has been stated as follows:

"We invite your attention to the reference cited and as per reference letter 4th cited, we agreed to pay following amount to you towards Gratuity interest and delayed payment of salary totally Rs.63,491/- (Rupees Sixty Three Thousand Four Hundred and Ninety One only) subject to outcome of Writ Appeal No.2697 of 2023 filed by the Management.

➢ Interest @ 6% on belated payment of Gratuity Rs.57,117.00 ➢ Interest @ 6% on belated payment of Salary Rs.6,374.00" The learned Additional Advocate General for the Respondents has also produced a copy of the said Communication dated 24.04.2025 before this Court.

3. In view of the aforesaid Communication dated 24.04.2025 produced by the learned Additional Advocate General for the Respondents, this Contempt Petition is closed and the Respondents are discharged from the contempt proceedings.
