Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records of the 2nd respondent pertaining to the order made in Memo No.443/BCDFGISSSV/2023, dated 05.10.2023 in detaining the detenue under the Tamilnadu Act 14/1982 as Goonda and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the

detenue, namely, Kamarudeen, Son of Shahul Hameed aged 33 years who is detained at the Central Prison Salem, Salem, before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a proceeding in G.O.Rt.No.6547, Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department dated 22.11.2023, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
