The present miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 262 days in filing this criminal appeal against the judgment dated 14.11.2022 made in C.C.No.220 of 2016 on the file of the Fast Track Court-II, Metropolitan Magistrate, Chennai.

2. Though the name of the respondent has been printed in the cause list, none appeared on behalf of them.

Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition stands allowed.

4. Registry is directed to number the criminal appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order and post the main case for admission.
