The intending plaintiffs seek leave to sue the defendant before this Court. It is asserted that the plaintiffs are well-known in the entertainment industry in Tamil Nadu. The applicants state that the defendant has uploaded defamatory videos, posts and tweets on social media platforms which are accessed by persons in Chennai, thereby lowering the reputation of the applicants.

2. Upon examining the draft plaint and considering the above submissions, it appears that a part of the cause of action has arisen within the jurisdiction of this Court. Therefore, this application is allowed by granting leave to the applicants to sue the defendant before this Court.
