Prayer Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of representation dated 11.08.2025 of the petitioner with regard to rectification differs in the field measurement sketch and measurement in respect of S.No.187/3A1B1 in Chitlapakkam village Tambaram Taluk Chengalpattu District and pass orders within a limited time frame 1/5
For Petitioner : Mr.J.Muthukumaran For Respondents : Mrs.Indhu Bala Additional Government Pleader Order Heard Mr.J.Muthukumaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.Indhu Bala, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents. With consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

The prayer in this Writ Petition is for issuance of mandamus on the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of representation dated 11.08.2025 of the petitioner with regard to rectification differs in the field measurement sketch and measurement in respect of S.No.187/3A1B1 in Chitlapakkam village, Tambaram Taluk, Chengalpattu District and pass orders within a limited time frame.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made a representation dated 11.08.2025 to the Tahsildar, Tambaram, viz., the third respondent herein, seeking for rectification of a defect in the 2/5
Field Measurement Book in respect of the petitioner's property, since, the said representation evoked no response, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition seeking for aforesaid relief.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents fairly submitted that the representation made by the petitioner would be considered and disposed of in accordance with law within the time as stipulated by this Court.

In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents and considering the limited scope of the prayer, sought for by the petitioner, in this Writ Petition, this Court, without expressing any view with regard to the merits of the contentions putforth by the petitioner either in the Writ Petition or in the representation, is of the view that, suffice it would be to direct the third respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation in a time bound manner.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 11.08.2025 and dispose of the same as early as possible, preferably, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
