Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant necessary relaxation to the petitioner to sit in the B.L., arrears examination to be held on December 2022 in order and to enable the petitioner to complete six arrear papers and consequently, to get his graduation.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondents to grant necessary relaxation to the petitioner to sit in the B.L., arrears examination to be held on December 2022 and to enable the petitioner to complete six arrear papers. 2.In the affidavit filed, it had been stated that the petitioner had studied in 3 year law course between the year 2014 - 2017. He had some arrear papers. He now claims that he should be permitted to write the arrear papers.

3.Let me not enter into a detailed discussion on the merits of the writ petition.

4.Mr.M.Ravi, learned Standing Counsel, takes notice for the respondents.

5.It is stated that the Puducherry University had permitted the students who studied in other courses to write arrear papers. It is also stated that the representation given by the petitioner would be considered. 6.A direction is given to the respondents to pass an order on the said representation within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7.With the above observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
