PRAYER:

Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to settle the terminal benefits of the petitioner of Gratuity amount of Rs.1,00,000/- Surrender of Earned Leave of 240 days and Medical Leave of 10 days amounting to Rs.5,86,883/- Social Security Scheme amount of Rs.45,000/- and interest for belated payment of Provident Fund amount of Rs.73,823/- and altogether a sum of Rs.17,05,706/- with interest at the rate of 6% per annum by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 09.10.2017.

ORDER

The petitioner herein is aggrieved against the nonsettlement of the terminal benefits to him.

2. Today, when the matter was called, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent-Corporation submitted that they have filed a counter affidavit, in which, they have stated that the entire unsettled retirement benefits was settled to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner and the monthly pension is also being paid from the month of June 2017.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the respondents, the grievance of the petitioner seems to have been met and hence, no effective orders can be passed in the present writ petition.
