L.Kuppuswamy v. The Arbitrator Cum District Collector
W.M.P.No.34154 of 2022 in W.P.No.34730 of 2022 S.M.SUBRAMANIAM.J., There is a dispute with reference to the determination of the compensation for the "Well" which is acquired.
2. The learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the National Highways, made a submission that no higher compensation was granted in respect of the Well situated adjacent to the property belonging to the writ petitioner.
3. On account of the interim order of status quo, the authorities are unable to proceed with the highways project. The case of the petitioner for higher compensation can be considered at the time of final hearing of the writ petition.
4. Thus, the interim order of status quo granted in the writ petition stands vacated and the issues may be adjudicated during final hearing of the matter.
5. Accordingly, the petition stands dismissed. 21.08.2023 sha https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Page 1/2
