ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner states that in view of the statements made in the affidavit affirmed by the Deputy Director-cum-Under Secretary of the Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Puducherry, the petitioner's grievance has been redressed.
2. The petition was filed in public interest to ensure the procurement of paddy by the Food Corporation of India upon paying the minimum support price. At paragraphs 9 and 10 of the relevant affidavit, the concerned official has indicated that the procurement of paddy on the basis of minimum support price is continuing.
3. In such view of the matter, W.P.No.34274 of 2019 is disposed of. W.M.P.No.34904 of 2019 is closed. There will be no order as to costs.
