O R D E R

The review petition has been filed to review the order dated 30.08.2023 made in W.P.No.23656 of 2023 by this Court.

2. The review petitioner states that the petitioner herein is not a party to the writ petition and the authorities are initiating action to remove the encroachment without affording him an opportunity.

3. This Court passed a final order directing the respondents to conduct a survey of the Government land and initiate all appropriate actions to evict the encroachers from the water body and Government lands. Therefore, the authorities must follow the procedures by issuing notice to the encroachers under the relevant provisions of the Act and thereafter remove the encroachments.

4. It is needless to state that the procedures contemplated under the relevant statutes must be followed for the eviction of encroachers from water bodies and Government poromboke lands. Consequently, the Review Application stands disposed of. No costs. The Connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
