Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders of the petitioner's representation dated 02.06.2019 and 05.09.2019 received on 10.06.2019 and 09.09.2019 respectively and to direct the 2nd respondent to disburse the amount of honorarium to be paid only for the month of January 2019 for attending the office and atleast 6 months time with facilities to finish work which is in half way period and permit to guide the two Post Doctorate Fellows till they complete their reports. Mr.V.Kadhirvel, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.

2.By consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.This writ petition has been filed seeking for a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the representations made by the petitioner and to pass orders and permit the petitioner to undertake the research works and to guide the Post Doctorate Fellows.

4.It is seen from records that the petitioner is a Doctorate holder and he has been engaged by the second respondent as a guide for Post Doctorate Fellows. The latest order that is available in the typed set of papers was passed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

by the second respondent on 25.05.2018, where one Dr.K.Angel Kavitha was directed to continue her research under the guidance of the petitioner.

5.The petitioner has given a representation dated 02.06.2019 to the first respondent requesting for continuing his research work and to engage him as guide for Post Doctorate Fellows. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed seeking for appropriate directions.

6.Heard Ms.Simi Mathew, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Kadhirvel, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents.

7.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the representations dated 19.12.2018 and 06.03.2019 made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

The petitioner is directed to give a representation along with the copy of the representations dated 19.12.2018 and 06.03.2019 and also a copy of this order to the second respondent.

8.With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
