Respondents PRAYER : The writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records made in Impugned order Na.Ka.No.438/Ka.U.Aa/Ku.Sa/Tha.Ma.Ka/2023 dated 10.11.2023 passed by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Guduvanchery Range, Tambaram, Chengalpattu District, the second respondent herein and quash the same as illegal and direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to hold public meeting at Railway Station Road, Guduvanchery on 01.12.2023.

ORDER

Petition filed seeking police permission for conducting demonstration condemn Palastin Israel attack.

2.The earlier request of the petitioner been rejected by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Guducancherry on certain reasons. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, challenging the rejection order. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents on instructions submits that if fresh application is given, it will be positively considered on conditions.

Recording the same, the writ petition is disposed of directing the petitioner herein to give a fresh representation and also undertaking to abide condition imposed by the respondent police and on such

representation and undertaking, the respondent police shall grant permission for conducting demonstration on that day and specific the time.
