No.60283 of 2015:- Petition filed under Section 378 of Cr.P.C, to set aside the Orders dated 21.12.2018 passed by the learned II Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai and to uphold the conviction and sentence of A-1 A.N.Ramanujam handed down by the Learned Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate vide Judgment dated 08.10.2012.

ORDER

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this petition has been filed praying to condone the delay of 252 days in filing the appeal against the Judgment and decree dated 21.12.2018 passed in C.A.No.192 of 2012 by the learned II Additional Sessions Court, Chennai.

2. This Court ordered notice and on serving the said notice, the petitioner came to know that the accused passed away. Hence the appeal filed by the petitioner has become infructuous and nothing survives for further adjudication in this case. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Accordingly, this Miscellaneous Petition dismissed as infructuous. Consequently the Criminal Appeal at SR stage is closed.
