The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 20.08.2025, for the offences punishable under Sections 75 of BNS, 2023, 66E, 67(A) of IT Act and Section TNPHW Act, in connection with Crime No.515 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent, seeks bail. 1/4

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with another accused compelled the defacto complainant to give nude photographs and later demanded money from her threatening to distribute the photographs to her husband.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and she is no way connected to the alleged offence. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent condition that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police opposed the grant of bail to the petitioner and submitted that the petitioner also demanded money from the defacto complainant showing that she would distribute the nude photographs.

5. Taking into consideration the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 10.09.2025 rpl To 2/4
