Heard Mr. V.Raghupathi, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mrs. C.Sangamithirai, Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties. 2.
The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the Respondents to consider the representation dated 16.08.2017 made by the Petitioner and sanction him all monetary benefits due to him within the time limit that may be fixed by the Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

It is contended by Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents that disciplinary proceedings have been initiated against the Petitioner for charges under Section 17(b) of the Tamil Nadu Civil Services (Discipline & Appeal) Rules, 1973, and the same is expected to be concluded shortly. 4.
Having regard to the aforesaid submissions made, the question of considering the representation made by the Petitioner to sanction the monetary benefits due to him as sought in this Writ Petition does not arise at this pre-mature stage of the matter. At the same time, it is made clear that depending upon the outcome of the said disciplinary proceedings, the Petitioner is not precluded from working out his rights for necessary relief before the proper forum in the manner recognized by law.
In the result, the Writ Petition is dismissed with the aforesaid observations. No costs.
