ORDER
This Suo Motu Case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by the Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu W.P.(Crl.) No.618 of 2025. 2.The case was registered in Cr.No.610 of 2012 for the alleged offence under Section 379 of the I.P.C. The accused committed theft of cylinder. It is reported that the property has been recovered and handed over to the defactocomplainant and the summons not served on the accused. There is no previous or subsequent case against the accused.

3.Considering the nature of the allegation, the antecedents of the accused and even if summons served on the accused, it will impinge upon the right to a speedy trial of the accused and no useful purpose would be served. 4.Accordingly, the case in C.C.No.441 of 2023 of District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Annur, Annur Taluk, Coimbatore, stands quashed. This Suo Motu Transfer Case is disposed of.
07.10.2025 smv electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary.
