PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to forthwith re-measure the height of the petitioner and to consequently process her claim for selection and appointment for selection year 2023 to the post of SubInspector of Police. ORDER

Challenging the disqualification Slip dated 07.11.2023, wherein, the petitioner was disqualified for not having required height, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Pending writ petition, the respondents have conducted physical endurance test as well as the height measurement, in which, the petitioner was declared as qualified after the height re-measurement test.

3. As such, the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed. Hence, the respondents herein shall subject the petitioner to further selection process.
