The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider her representation dated 07.10.2024 seeking disconnection of electricity service connection granted in favour of the 4th respondent vide Connection Nos.241-016-1708 and 241-016-1711 in the property comprised at Old Survey Nos.32/1, 32/2 (New Survey No.32/2B) and 32/3 situated at Thiruvathipuram Town Panchayat, Devaneri Street, Kodanagar, Cheyyar Taluk.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that the above mentioned property 2/6
was purchased by her from one Vijayakumari under a registered Sale Deed dated 18.10.2021 vide Document No.4260 of 2021 on the file of SRO, Cheyyar. The above mentioned property was illegally encroached by the 4th respondent and based on his illegal occupation, the 4th respondent obtained electricity service connection from the respondents 1 to 3. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation before the respondents 1 to 3 on 07.10.2024 seeking disconnection of the electricity service connection granted to the 4th respondent and the same has not been considered by the respondents 1 to 3 till date. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

Mr.Swami Subramanian, learned Standing Counsel (TNEB), who is taking notice for the respondents 1 to 3, would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 07.10.2024 will be considered by the 3rd respondents on its own merits and in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court.
4. In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to 3/6
direct the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.10.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
