Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner representation dated 12.5.2017 and consequently direct the first respondent to direct all departments of Tamilnadu to disclose the proactive disclosure mandated by RTI Act in their respective websites and direct the respondents to launch RTI online portal.

2. Respondents 1 and 2 have filed the status report. As per the status report, the Right to Information online web-portal was
implemented in Human Resources Management Department (formerly Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department), Secretariat, Chennai from 25.06.2021. It is further stated in the counter that the Right to Information online facility was implemented in all the departments of Secretariat in phases after giving necessary training to the officials concerned and the same is functioning well.
3. In the light of that, the writ petition is dismissed. There will be no order as to costs.
