any of the workers covered by Industrial Dispute except with prior permission of the Second Respondent.

Learned Counsel for both sides state that after the filing of the Writ Petition, the Government of Tamil Nadu by G.O. (D) No. 585, Labour and Employment (A.1) Department dated 05.10.2018 has referred the industrial dispute for adjudication before the Industrial Tribunal at Chennai and an award dated 22.12.2021 in I.D. No. 32 of 2018 has also been passed therein. Nothing remains for further consideration in this Writ Petition. In such circumstances, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
