Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent, forbearing the 1st respondent from proceeding with the application filed by the 2nd respondent herein, seeking registration of the alleged political party, by name "AMMA MAKKAL MUNNETRA KAZHAGAM", without considering and giving an opportunity to the petitioner, as mentioned in the Complaint/Objections, dated 23.10.2019 of the petitioner. Read this order in conjunction with order dated 01.03.2022 recording as follows:

'Pending writ petition, Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam has been registered as a political party, thus, prima facie, rendering this writ petition infructuous as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the petitioner seeks a mandamus forbearing the first respondent from registering the aforesaid party as a registered political party.

2.At joint request, list on 04.03.2022.'

2.It appears that this writ petition was instituted on 29.11.2019 and even prior to the matter having come up for admission, the first respondent had passed an order on 06.12.2019 registering the political party with effect from 25.11.2019. Faced with this position, Mr.V.Subramanian requests that he may be permitted to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to challenge order dated 06.12.2019.

3.The request is acceded to, and in light of the endorsement made, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as sought for. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
