When the matter is taken up for hearing today i.e., on 05.01.2022, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that during the pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner had passed away. Hence, the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous and there is nothing survives for adjudication.

2. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
