Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to cancel the patta in No.1886 for the extent of 85 cents out of 3.20 acres comprised in sy.No.260/6 in favour of the 4th to 6th respondents and issue patta in the name of the petitioner for the entire extent of 2.67 acres out of 1/4

The above Writ Petition is filed for the following reliefs:- " directing the respondents 1 to 3 to cancel the patta in No.1886 for the extent of 85 cents out of 3.20 acres comprised in sy.No.260/6 in favour of the 4th to 6th respondents and issue patta in the name of the petitioner for the entire extent of 2.67 acres out of 3.20 acres comprised in Sy.No.260/6 situated at Parinthal village, Ulundurpet Taluk, Kallakurichi District"

2. Heard the counsels on either side and perused the records.

3. It is informed that in connection with the appeal petition filed by the petitioner dated 13.09.2021, the respondents have issued enquiry summons to the petitioner to appear before the RDO, the 2nd 2/4

respondent herein on 04.12.2024 at 11.00 a.m. A perusal of the records would show that the relief that has been sought for in the above Writ Petition is also for considering the appeal petition submitted by the petitioner on 13.09.2023. Therefore, the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed to the extent of she being called for an enquiry.

4. Considering the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeal petition filed by the petitioner dated 13.09.2023, within a period of 4 weeks from 04.12.2024. No costs.
