For the Petitioner : Mr.K.S.Narayanan
ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by R. SURESH KUMAR, J.) This review application has been filed seeking review of the order passed by this Court dated 18.08.2025 made in W.A.No.2531 of 2025.
2. We have heard Mr.K.S.Narayanan, learned counsel for the review applicant and also, we have gone through our order dated 18.08.2025 made in W.A.No.2531 of 2025.
3. In view of the grievance that was espoused by the review applicant, who stood as the appellant before us, we, in fact, by our order dated 18.08.2025, directed to constitute a Special Medical Board, before whom the applicant/appellant was directed to appear. Having accepted the said order, the applicant/appellant had appeared before the Special Medical Board constituted pursuant to our order. The Special Medical Board, after having examined the
physical status of the applicant/appellant, has given the locomotive disability at only 23%, which is far lower than the minimum prescribed percentage of disability for the purpose of considering him as a candidate within the meaning of differently-abled persons quota/category. Recording this factual matrix, we were pleased to dismiss the writ appeal by our order dated 18.08.2025, which is sought to be reviewed herein.
4. It is a settled legal proposition that, for invoking the review jurisdiction of the Court, an apparent error on the face of the record in the order, which is sought to be reviewed, should be demonstrated by the review applicant. Here, no such error apparent on the face of the record has been stated by the review applicant as well as the learned counsel appearing for the review applicant. In view of the same, there is no scope for reviewing the order dated 18.08.2025 made in W.A.No.2531 of 2025.
5. Resultantly, this review application fails and hence, it is liable to be dismissed, accordingly, it is dismissed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, C.M.P.No.25080 of 2025 is closed.
