ORDER
This Writ petition has been filed seeking quashment of the proceedings of the 1st respondent in Se.Mu.Na.Ka.No.253 of 2025 dated 28.04.2025 and to consequently, direct the 1st respondent to reinstate the petitioner as an Anganvadi Worker at Gandhi Nagar, Vedal Village, Arakkonam Taluk.
2. Mr.V.Jeevagiridharan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel on either side, this Writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The case of the petitioner is that, she was appointed as an Aanganvadi Worker under the 3rd respondent herein, vide order of the 1st 2/7
respondent dated 25.02.2009 and she has rendered 16 years of unblemished service as Anganvadi worker at Gandhi Nagar, Vedal Village. While so, on 19.02.2025, based on the complaint given by some persons, the 3rd respondent conducted a surprise inspection at the Gandhi Nagar Anganvadi Center and thereafter, the 1st respondent, vide impugned proceedings bearing Se.Mu.Na.Ka.No.253 of 2025 dated 28.04.2025, placed the petitioner under permanent suspension. Such an order of suspension, without conducting proper enquiry and without giving sufficient opportunity to the petitioner to defend herself, is a clear violation of principles of natural justice and hence, the petitioner made a representation before the 1st and 2nd respondents on 12.08.2025, seeking to cancel the permanent suspension order and to reinstate her as an Aanganvadi worker, which evoked no response. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
5. Though very many grounds have been raised by the learned counsel on either side, at the time of arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner 3/7
restricted the prayer to the extent of seeking consideration of his representation and submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the 1st and 2nd respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.08.2025 and pass appropriate orders within the time stipulated by this Court.
6. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents did not raise any serious objection for the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

In view of the above, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case and without interfering with the order impugned, directs the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.08.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after hearing the petitioner and aggrieved persons, if any.
8. Accordingly, this Writ petition stands disposed of with the 4/7
aforesaid directions. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
