The relief sought in this writ petition is to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's petition dated 10.11.2016 and consequential representation dated 14.09.2017 and issue consolidated certificate with regard to legal heirship, widowship and indigence ship, arising out of the death of her husband R.Swathikumar.

2.According to the petitioner, her husband R.Swathikumar, who was working as a driver in CMDA, died on 16.11.2011 leaving behind her as his only Class I legal heir. On receipt of the death certificate, she made a petition on 10.11.2016 requesting the first respondent to issue consolidated certificates of legal heirship, widowship and indigence ship, as it is necessary for claiming employment on compassionate ground. Finding no response on the said petition, she submitted a representation on 14.09.2017, which was also not considered, till date. Hence, this writ petition. 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent and the learned counsel for the second respondent and perused the documents filed in the form of typed set of papers.

4.Considering the limited nature of the prayer sought in this writ petition, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's petition dated 10.11.2016 as well as representation dated 14.09.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, second respondent as well as any other interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of.
