Prayer: Contempt Petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Court's Act, to punish the respondents for the disobediences of this Hon'ble High Court order 30.08.2019 made in W.P.No.17450 of 2019. For Petitioner : Mr.S.Manikandan For Respondents : Mrs.C.Sangamithirai, Special Government Pleader.

O R D E R

This contempt petition has been filed complying the wilful disobedience in implementing the order dated 30.08.2019 in W.P.No.17450 of 2019 by the respondents.

2. During the course of hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents submit that the order of the Court has been complied with on 05.01.2024 by issuing appropriate proceedings to regularise the service of the petitioner. The compliance report also filed on behalf of the respondents which is placed on record. The learned counsel for the petitioner also endorsed the same.

3. Under these circumstances, in our view it is not necessary to continue the contempt proceedings further.

4. However, considering the fact that there is a delay of nearly 5 years in implementing the order of the Court, it is appropriate to warn the respondents to be more cautious and vigilant in implementing the order of the Court in true letter and spirit in future.

5. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed. 23.01.2024 Index :Yes/No.
