ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the proceedings of the Chief Executive Officer dated 31.12.2025 was placed before this Court. On going through the same, it is seen that the Chief Executive Officer has placed the matter before the Tamil Nadu Waqf Board and the same is pending.

2. The learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that in the light of the case pending before the Division Bench, the Tamil Nadu Waqf Board is not able to take any decisions.

3. In view of the above, as and when there is a clarity on the functioning of the Tamil Nadu Waqf Board, the report placed by the respondent dated 31.12.2025 shall be dealt with by the Board and final decision shall be taken as expeditiously as possible.
