The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider his representation dated 03.01.2014 and the reminder dated 09.04.2015, wherein and whereby, the petitioner sought for granting retrospective operation of his promotion as Junior Assistant (Administration) with effect from the date on which he was promoted to the post of Assessor. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Whether the petitioner's claim is entertainable or not is for the second respondent to consider and decide. Therefore, this Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, however, as the writ petition is filed seeking for a mandamus to pass orders on the representation, this Writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.01.2014 followed by a reminder dated 09.04.2015 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
