(Order of the Court was made by S.S.SUNDAR, J.) The above miscellaneous petition has been taken out by the petitioner herein, who is the wife of the Convict Prisoner-Abdul Razak, S/o Basheer Ahmed, to extend the ordinary leave granted to the petitioner's husband / convict prisoner for a period of 30 days from 23.11.2023.

2. Considering the fact that there is no serious objection by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and that the convict prisoner is entitled to ordinary leave for 45 days and he had availed leave for 35 days, this Court is inclined to extend the ordinary leave for a period of 5 days. Accordingly, the ordinary leave granted to the Convict Prisoner viz., Abdul Razak, S/o Basheer Ahmed vide the order of this Court dated 03.11.2023 in W.M.P.No.31375 of 2023 in W.P.No.7647 of 2023 for a period of 20 days i.e., from 04.11.2023 to 23.11.2023, without escort, is hereby extended for a further period of 5 days, on the following conditions: (i) The Convict Prisoner shall return back to the Central Prison, Coimbatore on 28.11.2023 at 05.00 p.m.

(ii) The Convict Prisoner is directed to report before the

Ukkadam Police Station, Coimbatore, daily at 05.30 p.m., during the period of leave.
