O R D E R

The writ petition was listed for final hearing on 18.11.2022, none appeared for the petitioner and thus, the case was listed under the caption "For Dismissal" on 21.11.2022. Again today also i.e. on 24.11.2022, when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Thus, this Court is inclined to pass final orders.

2. The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents to award one mark for the answer attended by the petitioner in Question No.132 in TET paper-II and publish the correct result regard the petitioner.

3. The petitioner participated in the Teachers Eligibility Test in the year 2013. The results were declared on 10.08.2014. The petitioner was unsuccessful and therefore, he filed the present writ petition after a lapse of 4 years from the date of examination in the year 2017.

4. The relief sought for is to award one mark in respect of the disputed question. However, the issues were resolved by the Teachers

Recruitment Board and therefore, the petitioner is not eligible for grant of any additional mark. That apart, there was an enormous delay in approaching the Court and therefore, the writ petition is liable to be rejected on the ground of latches.

5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is devoid of merits and stands dismissed. No costs.
