This petition is filed to condone the delay of 309 days in filing the above Civil Miscellaneous Appeal.

2. The learned counsel for the appellant submitted that he is giving up the claim against the respondents 2 to 15 and also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. Mr. P. Gurunathan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the 1st respondent did not raise any objection in allowing this petition. This court is satisfied with the reasons attributed in the affidavit filed in support of this petition. Hence, the petition is ordered.
