Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the fourth respondent to conduct the election for the post of Chairman for Board of Hereditary Trustees in respect of the petitioner's temple as per the proceedings of the third respondent in Na.Ka.No.11367/09/A2 dated 24.08.2015 within a stipulated period fixed by this Court.

ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that, though the petitioner has come up with the present Writ petition seeking to direct the fourth respondent to conduct the election for the post of Chairman for Board of Hereditary Trustees in respect of the petitioner temple as per the proceedings of the third respondent in Na.Ka.No.11367/09/A2 dated 2/4

24.08.2015, however, subsequently, the election was conducted on 31.07.2024 and thereby, the prayer sought for by the petitioner in the present Writ petition has become infructuous.

2. In view of the above, this Court is of the view that, nothing survives for further adjudication in the present petition and accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
