It is stated by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent that there is a procedure to detain the petitioner under Act 14 of 1982 in process.

Relevant records have also been forwarded, which shows that the Inspector of Police, Arumbavur Police Station, Perambalur District, had recommended that the petitioner should be detained under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2.In view of that particular fact, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed with liberty to file a fresh application, after a period of four weeks, if the said process is not completed.
