ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Villupuram, Villupuram District to expedite the trial in CC No.201 of 2020 and complete the same within a 1/3

stipulated time.

Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.

It is brought to the notice of this Court that the trial has been completed and the case is now at the stage of passing judgement on 19.03.2024.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Villupuram, Villupuram District, to expedite the trial in CC No.201 of 2020 and complete the same, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and report before this Court after completion of the Trial.

5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
