The petitioner seeks bail in Crime No.30 of 2023 originally registered under Sections 417, 420, 506(i) of IPC and subsequently, altered to Section 376 IPC. The petitioner had been taken into custody on 12.10.2023.

2.It is the case of the prosecution that the petitioner and the defacto complainant had been in relation for the past four years and they had also physical relationship. It is stated that four times the defacto complainant had to suffer the pain of agony and abortion. 3.The statement under Section 164(5) of Cr.P.C., had been recorded and perused. It indicates horrifying tales and torture suffered by the defacto complainant, not only at the hands of the petitioner but also at the hands of the mother, two brothers and sister of the petitioner. They had also chased her out of the house.

smv 4.Taking all these factors into consideration, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
