Ms.Aswini Devi, learned Standing Counsel accepts notice for the respondents and is armed with instructions to enable a disposal of the matter even today, at the time of admission.

2.The petitioner, represented by Mr.J.Mithera Paul Kirubagaran seeks a mandamus directing the respondents being the Commissioner and the Sanitary Health Inspector of the Greater Chennai Corporation to amend certain particulars in the death certificate issued upon the demise of her mother. The petitioner has admittedly made the same request in a representation dated 13.12.2022, which is pending before the 2nd respondent. 3.Ms.Aswini Devi would assure the Court that the representation having been duly received and pending consideration before R2 will be disposed after hearing the petitioner. A time frame of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order is fixed for the aforesaid purposes. 4.With the issuance of mandamus as aforesaid, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
